JEFFREY LEWIS is a singer/songwriter/comic book artist who got his start performing as part of the anti-folk movement in New York City, where he grew up. When the Moldy Peaches signed to Rough Trade Records in late 2000, they recommended Jeffrey's cassette recordings to label head Geoff Travis. Since then, Lewis has released three exceptional full lengths with Rough Trade and established the Jeff Lewis Band with which he has toured extensively. Lewis's shows can range between "lo-fi folk and sci-fi punk" as well as occasionally incorporating "low budget videos" (large ragged comic books displayed to accompany songs).

Having performed infrequently under various pseudonyms over the past two years, the band has officially reunited without emily brodsky for one final tour - of various bathrooms.
